Devin Schmidt is a top teaching and playing professional leading all instruction and programming at Side Out. For over 8 years he and his team have helped thousands of players improve their game. His students regularly win medals, move up in levels and even become coaches. Each year he organizes and hosts over 75 camps, clinics, charity events, leagues, and tournaments. Devin has taught all over the world with stops from coast to coast in the USA, Holland, Hungary, Spain and Mexico. As an avid player Devin has won medals in numerous open and 5.0 divisions including gold at PPA and APP 5.0 events.
Devin is the founder of The Premier Pickleball Academy, the first ever pickleball academy in Washington State. The academy launched in 2023 with a variety of events planned for all ages. He is also the founder of Premier Pickleball Camps and Clinics.
Devin is very active in his community and regularly hosts charity events supporting charities such as PAWS Animal Shelter, Platoon 22, Edmonds Food Bank, Washington Alzheimer’s Association and more.
Devin can’t wait to share his knowledge and passion of the game with his students.
